A Project Supported by ECaPPH Receives Funding to Advance an Innovative Vaccine Platform

Professor Gregory De Crescenzo has received funding from Médicament Québec for his project focused on the development of an innovative vaccine platform.

Professor De Crescenzo is one of the project leads supported by the Eastern Canada Pandemic Preparedness Hub (ECaPPH), which aims to develop bacterial and cellular platforms capable of designing, scaling up, and mass-producing vaccines and biotherapeutics in less than 100 days.

This new funding will help strengthen a network of complementary and interconnected platforms designed to accelerate the development and production of innovative pandemic preparedness solutions.

The initiative also highlights the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in strengthening the resilience and capabilities of Canada’s health ecosystem.
